The Bud Shootout is a NON-Points event. The first 25 races as you put it are pretty important because you need to be in the top 12.

the chase is a shitty artifical system throws away 60 % of the season, if you buy a ticket to one of the 25 races (exclude daytona), its about of same importats as the bud shootout, besides winning credit

okay, what race where you people watching cause I saw a typical Dega race ever since they put this race in the chase. in the first half everyone races safely (i.e.: high lining.) in the second half, all hell breaks loose.

I believe Jimmie Johnson gets unfair rap for being at his best during the Chase. His 17 wins during the Chase is tops. The guy along with Chad Knaus knows how to race the track. To me he is “The Game” of NASCAR.

I’m pissed off as well, but Nascar wanted a playoff system to be more competetive. JJ does deserve to win the championship because for the 4th year in a row, when they get into the playoffs he’s the best driver.
Think of all other sports…. regular season is just to get you into the dance. Once you’re in there anyone can win it, but the team who plays the best in the playoffs is the team that usually wins the title.

I can’t believe everyone hated this race. I loved it. If ya’ll can’t appreciate TWO cars flipping at Tally, then I don’t know what to think. Single file all race, ok, well that’s because NASCAR told em all NOT to bump draft in the corners so it was most likely hard for them NOT to run single file. I loved this race.
