@MegaFletch And, quite frankly, it’s about time (going on, how many years now? at least 10 or 12) an animation studio has dared to venture out of the safe zone of musicals and “la-dee-da” fairy tales (not that there’s anything wrong with those) to tell stories that are emotionally gripping, mature, and in some cases, action-packed. Power to ya, Pixar, for making movies that kids can enjoy ALMOST AS MUCH as the parents who take ‘em.

@ganzeinfachzocken I pity your stupidity and narrow-mindedness. Yes, stupidity. I’m so sick of people 1. Saying these movies are made JUSt for the kiddies, and 2. People constantly trying to PROTECT the kiddies! Gets real old, real fast. A few explosions aren’t going to scar a child, and if they do, then clearly the kid wasn’t ready to go see a movie in the theater anyway. So, shut it.

@Imaxination1980 yeah sorry but as an adult i don’t feel entertained too much from “Family Movies”. i like cars and also my son does but i don’t see the same charme in the sequel as far as i can anticipate from the trailer. anyway.personal decisions….

@ganzeinfachzocken Yet another person who believes these movies are made for kids. They’re not, they’re made for the whole family. Not all kids can watch them though, kind of like the classic Disney films or Pixar’s own “The Incredibles”.

@ganzeinfachzocken Actually, this is a little known fact about movies. When a sequel is made to a movie, the first movie is still exactly the same as it was before. So even if you don’t like Cars 2, the first Cars will still be there, exactly the way it was before.
