The rally town of Jyväskylä is bracing itself for its annual motorspoprt fest, the Neste Rally Finland. The stages are very fast indeed – probably the fastest in the world. Colin Clark previews the rally, and meets up with MINI WRC co-driver Paul Nagle…

The southern route around Lahti on friday goes too far south, it’s not typical central Finland anymore. I do not seen the stages, but I believe jumps do/did not play such a big part in there.

if i were you guys heres my say on what will happen in rally finland: it will be a battle between ford and citroen and maybe mini for the win. each of these makes here’s who will battle for the win, Ford: Ketomaa, Matti Latvala, Ostberg, Hirvonen( If he doesnt crash out early). Citroen: Ogier, Solberg( if no problems pop up for him). Mini( might fight for third step of the podium, maybe the win if some of the top guys run into trouble): Rantanen(Maybe), Meeke(Most likely), Sordo(Longshot for #1)

i would say latvala for the win too, hirvonen doesn’t seems very focused, but latvala has demostrated some really impressive speed, he’s just had bad luck

Are u serious colin?… latvala for the win :S?…. hirvonen was extremely fast last year before he crashed out. This is one rally i have hirvonen to win hands down once there is no problem with the car… 2nd place would be a fight between loeb, latvala and ogier

Nice preview! And welcome to Finland! But those jumps around 05:00 weren’t in Urria, they are clearly from Ruuhimäki.

This year’s Rally Finland will be my 18th consecutive time spectating it on the spot. And I’m just under 21 years old. I could say that Rally Finland is not an event, it’s a state of mind.
