Death of a Legend – Ultimate Nascar Vol 1 – Dale Earnhardt
Death of a Legend – Ultimate Nascar Vol 1 – Dale Earnhardt
we got 5 people to hunt down who dislike this video.
I vote 2001 worst year ever. =(
Every time I watch a Dale Earnhardt Sr video I get tear filled eyes. I was his fan and only his. Since his death I now hate racin.. RIP Dale U are sadly missed but not forgotten!!
everytime i re watch the 2001 daytona 500 and hear the guy say gentalmen start your engines i get goose bumps
If he smoked a pot cigarette that would be really dangerous. The government would arrest him.
Nascar..& Dale Earnhardt 1951-2001
My father in law was big time Elliott and Martin…me Earnhardt. We watched the races together many, many years. We had lots and lots of arguments. When Earnhardt passed he cried and told Ma Kettle to turn the tv off. I think even the ones who professed to hate Big E secretly loved him and they knew he made their fav drivers look better. Sad thing is my father in law died the same year to cancer 8 months after to the day. Racing changed that year for me forever. Nascar is just a memory now.
that wasnt bill france that was nascar president mike helton who uttered those four sad words “we lost dale earnhardt” I will never forget that day it was the saddest day I can remeber I love stock car racing and I watch dale race for 21 years and I love watching him drive that car man ol man I miss him alot r.i.p dale
bill france had the worst job haveing to tell everyone that dale didnt make it
the day dale died was like superman had died and i still cry to this day
wow is was about to cry
the good ones always die before their time & Dale Sr was the best. i didn’t think anything of this wreck when i saw it the man survived the 96 front stretch crash at Talladega, this one didn’t look nearly that bad. he was my racing hero, i cried for a long time, i’m from South Carolina & the man was truly a ruler of the land. it was like losing a family member, i still haven’t gotten over it.
the only famus person that passed away i truly cried days and days about i was such a huge earnhardt fan this is a great but sad video dale earnhardt is racing in the hevens
rip buddy
u are a legend
at least he died doing what he loved doing.
greatest nascar driver that ever lived
worst time ever it sucked dale earnhardt rules and always will!!!!!!!
This was probably the darkest day in NASCAR history. I have been a fan since I was 11. I was a Davey Allison fan and we all know what happened to him. I then became a huge Dale Sr fan. I think I speak for most fans, losing Dale Sr is like losing a friend. Think of all the sundays you spent watching him and a connection most fans had with him. He is one of the last of a true racer and one who had grit. To this day I always think that black 3 car is missing
he should have got a full face on because his nose went into his brains we need you back Dale your son is waiting for you rip#3
still remember seeing the race live i was 12 and got the feeling something happend everytime i see a dale sr vid it brings a tear to my eye my dad used to yell and scream celebrating everytime dale won my dad is a hardcore dale sr fan and still watches past races on espn classic now he supports jr even though jr will never be like his dad
i was 5 when that crashed happened, i was there at that race
alot of people where crying
never forget
rip#3
I stopped watching Nascar that day. I couldn’t do it anymore. Racing is not the same without Dale.
I remember that day. I was a charter bus driver, and was coming back from south GA twords Charlotte. I remember seeing the #3 transporter on the road dutifully returning home for the last time. I remember saying..Oh man..Seeing that truck after what had just happened..I will never forget that moment.
Its hard to belive but its been 8 years today since his death…..Its sad how much things have changed in 8 years
We need ya back Dale, we miss ya
427BELAIR, I do too. Waltrip is also a man’s man…no wonder he and Dale were good friends. Hell, out of all the people I’ve seen in these documentaries, Teresa’s the only one who wasn’t choked up. Doesn’t really say much about her does it?
I was 14 when he died. I live in northern New Jersey, in my world growing up NASCAR simply didn’t exist except as a nuisance on weekends when I would have rather watched something else. On that day when Dale Earnhardt died I remembered watching espn and seeing the grieving from folks across the country. I thought to myself, “Wow, this guy must have been something to have affected so many lives.”
I learned who Dale Earnhardt was, and have been a diehard nascar fan since.
RIP #3
i have a new repect for waltrip after watching this.
#3
it felt like nascar itself died that day too..
