@ClutchSmurf That is Byron Leftwich when he was at Marshall and I think he may have fractured his leg or if he didn’t fracture it he hurt it to the point where he couldn’t walk to the line of scrimmage down the field. So his offensive lineman had to carry him
@ClutchSmurf Byron Leftwich broke his leg, came back in the came but he couldn’t run/ walk he should have been at the hospital so his lineman carried him down the field
with the NFL you just can’t get the emotions and there isnt allumni or anything man
@tibta4tibta Kirk Herbstreit of ESPN College GameDay had a “source” who told him that LSU’s coach Les Miles was next in line for the Michigan coaching job after Lloyd Carr left. Miles told the reporters to back off because he had a game to play, and ended up staying at LSU. Michigan hired West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez.

@jachristian100 “In the age before coaches’ challenges and referee reviews were included within the NCAA rules, the call was subsequently validated by the National Association of Sports Officials, and was also selected by Referee Magazine as one of the “Best 18 Calls of All Time.” But you’re a brain dead Cane fan where facts go in one ear and come out the other.

To answer your question about Paul Rhoads, (Head Coach at ISU): The team had just beat Nebraska, with multiple starters injured, for the first time in 30+ years. Even more important, Rhoads, after Gene Chizik left ISU for Auburn, was the first coach to truly believe in his players. Which makes the moment all the more special, to the staff, the players, and us, the fans.
college football is damn sweet
