Roach’s Fundamentals of Boxing
He never backed down. He always gave it 100%. He might not have had the skill of a Mayweather, but he had double the heart. Roger and Floyd Sr. both quit when they got in with tough guys (Chavez, Leonard). Freddie got in with the best, and went down swinging.
you can tell hes got some brain damage over the year…. either way one of the best boxing coach of all time..
words to take from this “This is what a i do and this is my life”
you can only do something like that if you have the love for it.
thats why people ask “how do you do it freddie?”
Simple Answer. He loves what he does
I wanted to know if I made the right choice… my hands are kinda small…. and I use the heavy bag a lot.. therefore I was wondering if it was ok for me to buy them…??? just doing this for fun I love martial arts.. its changing my life!…. please reply I’ll return them if you tell me to
1 dislike= Roger Mayweather
@brozac1011
Yes he has Parkinson Disease.
@gkublok87 I agree..Excellent comment.
“@brozac1011 Does roach has a sickness” I believe he does, but I’m not sure what it is. It justshows what a great guy he is.
He looks exactly like Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys. You’d never expect him to be the best boxing trainer ever.
Best boxer in the world is Filipino and the best boxing trainer is a white guy. Mayweather is pretty pissed off about that! LOL
This guy is a legend!
@pugilist102 I can imagine
@azfryguy I shook his hand once. Dude has rough hands, like a mechanic.
I never get people who insinuate that a successful trainer has to have been a successful athlete as well. These are two separate things (not saying Roach was a poor boxer cause he wasn’t). But before you criticize someone who has overcome many obstacles in his life that you might not have even faced, think twice..fuckin idiots
i love roach!
@dvsbmx yea. he tried fight through the disease but kept getting his ass kicked. im not ignorant you know. just saying.
I would give my left nut to meet him and right to have him teach me.
I love Freddie Roach. Great guy.
Roach reminds me of Radar O’Reilly.
Freddy, where the hell are the projects in Dedham?
@puronicoya You don’t think that had anything to do with Parkinson’s disease, do you?
I dnt think this guy have to explain him self , people on oposite side of the globe knows Roach is the one of the top trainer in the world.
he retired at 26. started to get his ass kicked consistently.
i love you
@brozac1011 Yeah roach has had Parkisons for many years. He’s stated that he believes that it’s training boxers everyday, in the ring with the pads on etc, that has slowed the progress of his disease
