@realkman666 A smooth set of rules, that provide a true and fluid user-to-game dynamics, will provide great entertainment and excitement, even if the game is not true to the real world, the fact that it’s true to it’s own world makes it real for itself and for your mind when you’re focused on it. Sadly people tend to compare and try make the game feel like their simulator of choice, and that’s a huge distraction that can ruin a great game, because the user fails to adapt to the new world.

@realkman666 no simulator feels like a real car… because it’s “not” real… the best thing that can happen is that the game is able to provide an entertaining/exciting experience to your senses based on a set of rules, that when they’re well put together, turns out into a great feeling of satisfaction when interacting with it. Shift 2 is not marketed as a professional training sim, so why do you expect it to behave like one?. People should stop analyzing flaws on games and start enjoying them.

@iamrockinrich We were uploading those through BLIP and had problems with it so we stopped. Sorry.. Most smart phones and iPhones, etc can get the show right here through You Tube now. We’re looking into an alternative to download the shows.

@ComicPenius i haven’t played shift 2… but i kind of understand what you mean. i played nfs shift and even tho i agree it’s not “sim” enough for hardcore sim racers, it’s still entertaining and it rivals gran turismo on the physics side… let’s not forget GT it’s a sim not sim just like shift. After i accepted shift’s physics, i was able to enjoy it and played it all the way thru. Was great fun. I’m gonna have to check out shift 2 for sure.

Sounds good. Well, “disappointed” is to harsh… What I meant is that I am missing the good old stuff “Top Sim Cars” e.g. Don’t get me wrong. Also HW tests are very nice to see. I am simply missing some old stuff.
BTW: The “DRM”-mod would be perfect for a revival of the mod test^^ I expect a rearrange the “Top Sim Car”-charts ^^ BTW2: It would be also very intersting if you could introduce some of the great race communities worldwide. I’m sure a lot of people would like this
